Sunset Wedding – Swarovski Golden Shadow Necklace
by kultalilja on Oct.09, 2009, under Handmade Jewelry
Swarovski sew-on crystals are excellent for necklace. This gorgeous necklace has been made using chainmaille princess weave. Since I used Swarovski golden shadow sew-ons, I chose gold-filled wire to reflect autumn colors on necklace. Light red freshwater pearls are adding sensitivity to the jewelry. For an eye-cathcer I’ve used Swarovski rondelle which is a cap for fine chains. I was inspired by sparkling crystals and coming wedding show. This jewelry would be perfect for a mature bride, slightly girlish and still gorgeous at the same time. A perfect match for a woman who knows what she wants in her life!

Colors of the Holiday Season
by Laura Rockefeller on Oct.09, 2009, under Handmade Jewelry
I love the traditional colors of the holiday season–green, red, white, silver and gold. But sometimes these colors are so strongly associated with the holidays, like red and green, it seems inappropriate to use them any other time. So when the end of the year rolls around, I take full advantage of these festive color pairings to spread my brand of holiday cheer.

Lava stone bead necklace
by justatish on Oct.08, 2009, under Handmade Jewelry
Multi layered and bulkly is the trend for fall 2009 jewelry fashion. Leave the weight behind and have fun with bulky beads of lava stone. Lava stones are fun beads to work with, loaded with texture and character, you can load up your design with them and not have to sacrifice you neck to the weight, or use them as accents to draw attention to the design, not so much the bead.
