These items are handmade especially for those who love yoga! I used sterling silver spiritual charms of lotuses, Om’s and Sanskrit phrases. They are delicately hung from sterling silver chain and include semi-precious stones, faceted crystal and fire polished glass.
I hope you find these images as inspiring as I do! Namaste!

I have been thinking a lot about the beauty of stones in their various forms and amethyst really seems to be a favorite of mine!
Recently, I have created several items with amethyst in a rough nugget form. To the touch they are rough, but they also have a velvety appearance which is delightful. Here is a recent creation of mine from natural amethyst nuggets. I have purposely mixed them with smooth jet black onyx to bring out the play in the textures an added antique filigree beads to accent.

This item and others can be found in Jewels Of Saraswati’s shop.

Not only do I love to create jewelry, but I also love to create japa malas to foster meditation and peace. Japas malas are used to count a mantra while meditating and can come in a variation on lengths. Mantras are typically repeated hundreds or even thousands of times. The mala is used so that one can focus on the meaning or sound of the mantra rather than counting its repetitions. Created with loving care, these intend to inspire!

One repetition is usually said for each bead while turning the thumb clockwise around each bead, though some traditions or practices may call for counterclockwise motion or specific finger usage. When arriving at the head bead, one turns the mala around and then goes back in the opposing direction. This makes using the mala easier as the beads will not be so tight on the string when you use them.
Check more of them on my shop.
