Valkyria bracelet
Valkyria is variant of ancient chainmaille weave. Chainmaille’s origin is from vikings, which gave me inspiration of this weave. Beautiful bracelet got it’s name from viking myths. According to Norse myths, the Valkyries were romanticized as Odin’s Shield-Maidens, virgins with golden hair and snowy arms. In this bracelet, gold filled beads are dancing in the chainmaille as Valkyrias in Norwegian legend of Valhalla.

White bead and gold bracelet
This bracelet has white moonstone, mother of pearl and crystal beads. It has small gold filled beads hanging from each strand. After having a ‘bringing up my kids’ break in career, I am very confused with the power of celebrity in the designer/shop world. It seems strange and sad to me that if a ‘celebrity’ wears a designers clothes/jewellery/bag that you are instantly hurled into being the ‘hottest new thing’, or am I missing the point? If I started wearing what the celebs wear would I become younger, thinner and happier?
You can buy this piece from my shop here.
