About: Tish McDermott comes from a family heritage of people whose lives were rich in art, design, music, and crafting. Creativity was essential to life and unconventional ideas were the norm. Fashion was individualistic and non-conformist. Early on she became aware that commercial jewelry was not readily available to accessorize the fashion sense of a non-traditional woman and Just A Tish Designs were born. Tish's designs have been found in Bead Trends Magazine, show cased in the Farmville and Holly Springs, NC Arts Councils, and are available in stores across the country.See Authors Posts (4) on Oct.06, 2009, under Jewelry Making
Fun and flirty design, goes great with any outfit.
What you will need:
* 2 – top drilled 10 x 12 mm faceted briolettes
* 18 – 6mm sterling silver jump rings
* 2 – 2 1/2″of 22 gauge half hard round sterling wire
* 2 – sterling silver french hooks
Make a wire wrapped loop at the end of one of the wire pieces. Slide the briolette onto the wire about 1/4″ from the wrap. Bend the loop up at a 90 degree angle. Take the straight end of the wire, bend it up at a 90 degree angle and begin to wrap it back up towards the loop. Slide 8 of the jump rings onto the top of the earring. Secure the 9th ring thru the eye of the loop. Attach the ear wire through the top loop.
Repeat to create the other earring.
